PALS - Instructor-Led Training
The AHA’s PALS Course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. The goal of PALS is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
- PALS Full Course - $185
- Full Course is designed for first time students or students with expired cards.
- Class Length: 1 day, Up to 12 hours.
- BLS Renewal add-on available.
- American Heart Association Certification eCard received at end of class.
- BLS Renewal Option - $45 and extra 30-45 minutes.
- CEUs available: RN, Respiratory Therapy, LVN, Pharmacy, EMT, Paramedic, Dental, and Physicians
- Mandatory Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work with a passing score of 70% or greater (access to Pre-Course requirments given after registration).
- 2020 PALS PROVIDER MANUAL:
The American Heart Association requires all students to bring the 2020 AHA PALS Provider Manual to class. You may purchase the book when you register.

Course Content
- High-quality Child CPR AED and Infant CPR
- Recognition of patients who do and do not require immediate intervention
- Recognition of cardiopulmonary arrest early and application CPR within 10 seconds
- Apply team dynamics
- Differentiation between respiratory distress and failure
- Early interventions for respiratory distress and failure
- Differentiation between compensated and decompensated (hypotensive) shock
- Early interventions for the treatment of shock
- Differentiation between unstable and stable patients with arrhythmias
- Clinical characteristics of instability in patients with arrhythmias
- Post–cardiac arrest management
