Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED blended course:
The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Who should take this course?
The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Examples of people who should take this course are:
*Contruction workers
*School Teachers and other school staff
*Fitness Instructors
*Security Gaurds (unless employed at a hospital, then you need BLS)
*Boat Capitains with Coastguard requirements and other fishing industry employees.
*Persons working in maunfacturing, engineering, and other non-medical industries.

Online Details
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED blended learning course and is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for first aid, CPR, and AED training. You will complete this at home before your skills appointment.
Hands-On Details
The hands-on skills practice and testing session are conducted in-person with our Instructor. You will select this appointment date and time during registration. Upon successful completion of both then online and hands-on portions of the course, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.
